A Charity Football match will take place this Sunday, 16 February at Ulidia Playing Fields, Ormeau Road to celebrate the life of the recently deceased Willie McIntaggart.

The match, organised by John Smyth, Noel McKnight and Marty McFlynn on behalf of Willie's family has a 1pm kick off.

The match is Ulidia FC versus Orangefield Vets and will include players of yesteryear and  beyond trying to resurrect and demonstrate long forgotten skills.

The goal (forgive the pun) is to raise money for the Marie Curie Hospice in Belfast who cared for Willie in his final weeks.

Post match, refreshment will be available at the Pavilion Public (Big) House next door to Ulidia. Entertainment and craic are guaranteed so we look forward to seeing a big crowd, if not for the football, for the apres match activities.

If you can't be there, please leave a message on here and don't forget to dig deep to support the extraordinary work carried out by Marie Curie.

We can't forget. Your support would be much appreciated.
